Low grub2/console resolution Dec 20th 2012, 05:27 Hi, I have Asus VE248H monitors that can do 1920x1080 resolution, I also have an Asus GE-640 graphic adapter. I installed the nvidia driver from the openSUSE community website oneCLICK install. Since I installed the nvidia driver (instead of the nouveau one), the maximum resolution I can have when booting or on a console (ex: alt-F1) is 640x480 wich is really too low to be acceptable considering I have HD minitors. Is there a way to have a better resolution ? I read a lot of post but not sure I fully understood everything.
