Can't stream Amazon Prime video (in Firefox) higher than 480p! Dec 20th 2012, 06:06 Is this an "Amazon hates linux" problem? My connection is 50 mbps (and when I test it - on 4 different speed test sites - it's actually testing at 65-73 mbps consistently), yet Amazon claims my speed is only 1.3 mbps and thus gives me 480p. As well, taking youtube's speed test (and showing the speed at which it downloads video) shows it downloads at an average of 52 mbps! So why does Amazon claim I can't get better than 480p? Is anyone else getting this same issue?
