USB Devices that work and don't work --help! Jan 22nd 2013, 18:20 SuSE12.2 fresh 32 bit install. USB installed devices that work are: Samsung CLP-360 printer, Logitech Wireless Keyboard/Mouse, and Memory sticks work when plugged in. Webcams (3 different modles), USB scanner, and Hauppague PVR 250 dont't work but are recognized in dmesg. This all works on another partition with SuSE 11.4. Cheese crashes when run, so does VLC when selecting video device, motv loads but no webcam display, Skype has no video from webcam but voice works. I'm at a dead end resolving this problem, plus I'm not the "sharpest knife in the drawer" when it comes to resolving problems in Linux. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
