Connecting to kde through VNC
Jan 28th 2013, 22:57

Hi guys!
I am newbie and I have few question about suse.
I am using openSUSE 12.2 (i586) on vmware. I am trying to connect from win8 to kde desktop. when I type http://ip:5803/ It gives me a screen like this:

How can I connect from win7 to suse kde desktop manager?

My second question is how can I kill the Xvnc process manually?

linux-fgxb:~ # vncserver :2
Quote:

Warning: linux-fgxb:2 is taken because of /tmp/.X11-unix/X2
Remove this file if there is no X server linux-fgxb:2
A VNC server is already running as :2

linux-fgxb:~ # vncserver -kill :2
Quote:

Can't find file /root/.vnc/linux-fgxb:2.pid
You'll have to kill the Xvnc process manually

Thanks.
