Application Locations Jan 23rd 2013, 05:38 When I install packages they don't always end up writing an entry into the application launcher menu. So I can browse around and find some of the directories and files created but I'm now sure which is the executable file nor how to bring it into the menu or onto the desktop. This is pretty basic and there may be a sticky about this but I sure would appreciate any help on this general subject. The specific packages I'm referring to are Mplayer and libxine 1 which both show installed in Yast?!?
