11.4 -Can we use a newer kernel during installation? Jan 28th 2013, 02:23 Guys, Due to some raid cards etc, is there a way whereby whilst installing 11.4 , we can use a newer kernel, say 3.1 or 3.4 instead of the 2.6 that comes with opensuse 11.4 ? I was able to do this once last year or so but i did not document it well. Any insight on this ? Thanx.
