How-to properly upgrade KDE in 12.2 x64 Dec 20th 2012, 15:23 Hi, I will install a fresh OpenSuSe 12.2 (DVD x64) in the next few hours, and I would like to instantly upgrade KDE from 4.8.4/5 to KDE 4.9.3 (or whatever is the latest one). What's the proper way of doing this? My plan is to install system, install all updates, restart, and then update KDE, and restart again. Question: What is difference in this tutorial: SDB:KDE upgrade - openSUSE between latest KDE packages and release? Furthermore, do I need the Extra repositories?
