Wireless problem RTL8188CE / RTL8192CE Sep 17th 2012, 07:41 I have a new Toshiba 64 bit Laptop PSK8A-09V003 originally loaded with Windows 7. Wireless LAN with Windows 7 was working fine and identified the Wireless chip as rtl8188ce. OS 12.1 identifies the Wireless chip as rtl8192ce or rtl8192c. I am trying to install OS 12.2 using Net install. The installation boots up, connect with DHCP to my router with WEB 128 bit encryption and drops the connection when the installation system 1 - 6 have been downloaded. Using the 12.2 Gnome Live DVD does not let me connect at all. I searched the net and forums but can;t find any fix. Hans
