Hi! I have an HP pavilion with OpenSuse 11.4 and the wireless card Broadcom 802.11a/b/g with ssb Kernel driver does not find any wireless networks using Network manager.
with
"sudo /usr/sbin/iwlist scan"
I get:

lo Interface doesn't support scanning.

eth0 Interface doesn't support scanning.

wlan0 Interface doesn't support scanning : Network is down

And with
"hwinfo --wlan" I get
