Serial Keyboard to usb. opesnsuse 11.4 Feb 8th 2013, 01:25 Hello! I have a laptop hp pavilion with opensuse 11.4 and no serial port. I got a ps/2 to USB adapter but the keyboard doesn't work (only the leds flash and the F lock terns on-off). It is a Microsoft multimedia keyboard 1.0A. I borrowed and tried with Packard bell and another Microsoft one but nothing happened. I also tried with a new adapter but the keyboards do not work. :( A microsoft usb mouse 1.1A, USB and PS/2 compatible, does work fine.
