UN-LIVE KDE live disk Jan 14th 2013, 05:09 I am running the live milestone 2 disk and it is refusing to connect with wireless or ethernet using the crappy NETWORK MANAGER as downloaded. I had to do the following: UNINSTALL network manager uninstall apper use ifup to make the ethernet connect and then use zypper to get updates. I thought things were getting better with networking with Linux but clearly I was badly mistaken. Why, after a couple of years of users being so unhappy or unable to surf the web with network manager interfering with them is this **** program still here? ymmv cheers
