openSUSE 12.2 Hybrid Live USB Failure
Nov 4th 2012, 22:06

I hope I am posting in the right forum, their was no forum on pre-install questions. I made a live usb this way: First I hybridiso treated all of my downloaded isos, picked one (KDE Live CD) and wrote it using dd. I then booted up the usb drive with the boot option kiwi_hybridpersistent=yes and it made a hybrid partition (this may sound weird but I may have put kiwihybridpersistent=yes but it still created a hybrid partition). When I tried to boot up the same drive again I watched the background bootup messages and one of them said "found existing hybrid filesystem" and a few seconds later the screen cleared and I saw the message "Could not mount root filesystem" and under it said something like rebootexception rebooting in something seconds. Hope somebody can figure it out.
