Funny this worked until a couple of weeks ago, just around the time I did a zypper up.
This is openSUSE 12.2 (x86_64)
I can't mount a NAS directory.
The /etc/fstab entry for this is:
//172.16.1.136/JMonk /mnt/wdsharespace cifs credentials=/mnt/credentials
output from mount -v -a for this:
mount.cifs kernel mount options: ip=172.16.1.136,unc=\\172.16.1.136\JMonk,user=JMonk,pass=********
Unable to find suitable address.
And syslog has:
Feb 3 04:56:04 mahler kernel: [12528.674621] CIFS VFS: Error connecting to socket. Aborting operation
Feb 3 04:56:04 mahler kernel: [12528.674837] CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -111
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks,
Joe.
