I have a Windows 7 machine and recently installed Opensuse 12.2. I have several problems that I can't seem to resolve and I now want the install gone from my system. I cannot find any way to uninstall an Opensuse installation and I don't want to just delete the partitions on my external drive because then the dreaded Grub will remain. My MBR has been destroyed and I can no longer get into Windows without my external hard drive being connected. I have tried Boot Loader and selecting the option to boot from the MBR, and that hasn't worked. I tried a windows System Repair disc and it found no errors on the MBR, yet I cannot get into Windows without going through Grub and my external hard drive being connected.
In addition, OpenSuse seems to have trouble with my network cards, both wireless and wired, where sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Now it appears that it is not and nothing I do gets an internet connection any longer including disconnecting and reconnecting the ethernet cable or turning the wifi on and off.
This is a debacle and I just want it gone. Do I have any options at this point short of a reinstall of Windows? FYI, I do have a system image, but I don't know if that will fix the MBR.
