Screen going blank after random amount of time Jan 30th 2013, 15:04 I have one weird problem, can't seem to find the cause of it. What's going on is that after some time (it's never the same) , screen goes blank (monitor turns off) , if I then move the mouse screen goes back and monitor turns on. I have screensaver disabled, as well all the power options. It was working fine, but then I've noticed it for the first time when I turned my monitor on (after it was off while I was sleeping), so I don't know how long it was before that kicked in (idle time) , then the next day it didn't happened, then sometimes it happens after 10 minutes of idle, sometimes 2 hours of idle time, it's really bizarre. openSUSE is 12.2 KDE, using ATI catalyst drivers, kernel 3.7.4-1 This was never happening in Windows btw, so it's not some hardware problem or something like that. Any advice ?
