audit.d not present on the system. Is it obsoleted? OpenSuse 12.2 64bit KDE Jan 29th 2013, 10:56 In yast the advice is to set ntp and audit.d in the boot-process. When I go there (new install, 64bit, 12.2, no audit.d daemon is available. Unlike the documentation where it is listed (and should be activated by default). What could be the issue? is it in your daemon listing? has it been removed in 12.2 because of system.d? I tried to Code: su - systemctl unmask audit.d.service to see if it had been deactivated and masked but not, the prompt returns without error or comment. Audit.d is missing and I do not see where it is activated. Before reporting a bug I ask if anybody knows why. Cheers.
