VMPlayer 5.0.1 on OS 11.4 won't start Dec 9th 2012, 13:50 Looking for assistance in getting VMPlayer 5.0.1 to start on OS 11.4. Mouse pointer shows as busy for 30 seconds after clicking on icon then stops with no VMPlayer activating. I did run VMPLAYER (as SU) from terminal and got a few messages, one seemed relevant: process 10340: Attempt to remove filter function 0x7fadf8033980 user data 0x7fae0af60d70, but no such filter has been added D-Bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace Aborted I don't understand what this means.
