Upgrading Gnome 3.4 to 3.6 corrupts login & desktop screens Dec 6th 2012, 00:31 Using the instruction from Install Gnome 3.6 On OpenSuse 12.2 | Muktware I performed the following to upgrade my desktop from Gnome 3.4 to 3.6 on my opensuse 12.2 x64 machine: Code: # zypper ar obs://GNOME:STABLE:3.6/openSUSE_12.2 GS36 # zypper mr -r GS36 # zypper dup --from GS36 Now my login screen and desktop background are corrupted. Everything else "seems" to be working fine once I log in. I did see some error messages relating to the package evolution about something being broken - although not sure if it is related. Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this issue?
