HP (HPLIP) zombie Dec 16th 2012, 04:03 Can anyone that uses 12.2 And if it matters, I am _64 and KDE And if you have HP Printer software running in the tray Please open a terminal and see if you have a zombie process. I identified mine as HP, and sure enough if I quit it from the tray, the zombie goes. I also note that the options from the HP icon for 'settings' etc... don't function either. HPLIP from default repos: 3.12.4-3.1.2
