Gnus v5.13: No access to forums via NNTP since Emacs update Nov 1st 2012, 09:59 Since the upgrade from Emacs 23.3 to 24.2 I experience problems connecting to forums.opensuse.org or forums.novell.com using Gnus. The messages buffer tells me this: Code: Connecting to forums.opensuse.org... Opening nntp server on forums.opensuse.org...failed: Error when connecting: 200 Welcome to forums.novell.com! (Typhoon v2.1.2.394) This makes no sense to me. So, what do other users of Gnus experience and what is the correct way to configure Gnus?
