Dualboot with Windows 8 and openSuse 12.2 possible? Nov 1st 2012, 08:07 Hallo, together, I´ve posted this question also in the german forum, but did not get an answer so far. This is why I post it here again. I have a new Laptop "Acer Aspire V3" with Windows 8. I know - from the Internet - that there are difficulties, if you would like to install a dualboot with another OS. Nevertheless: Does anybody have any experiences with this? What I found out so far: In my BIOS it is possible to switch off the UEFI. Then there is "Legacy BIOS". Windows 8 does not start anymore. After turning it on, Win 8 starts again. It is not possible to turn off the "Secureboot". Could this be a way to install openSuse with Win 8? By the way: Is it possible to do a Dualboot with Windows 7? (Until now I only did this with XP.)
